Sneaking into Gowanus sometime in March, Lucey’s Lounge is joining the list of cocktail joints in Gowanus. Lucey’s which says it wants “to transport you to another time and place of rum, whiskey & gin cocktails, barrel-aged classics and sodas, syrups, purees and bitters made from scratch” on its Facebook page is just past 10th Street on 3rd Avenue. Hiding from our radar somehow for over a month (maybe because someone put a tree in front of their sign…damn you evil tree…and maybe cause people keep saying it’s in Park Slope) the place looks like a really good hangout for those who know their spirits!

Other than cocktails the bars seems to be of the green mindset. Lucey’s actual bar was put together from recycled material, which is highlighted in this segment on BIG! NYC from the Wall Street Journal:
