Gowanus Canal Community Advisory Group is postponing the meeting tonight on National Grid. The new date is TBD.

Upcoming Gowanus Canal Community Advisory Group (CAG) and EPA Schedule:

Jan. 16 Gowanus CAG Water Quality/Technical Committee meeting: 621 DeGraw Street, 6 pm – 9 pm. Agenda: Review of Feasibility Study, technical assistance for CAG, wetland issues, other business.

Jan. 24 EPA Public Meeting: The EPA public information meeting for the Feasibility Study will be on Tuesday January 24, at 7 PM.  Auditorium of P.S. 58, 330 Smith Street.

Jan. 30 CAG General Meeting, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., location TBD: EPA will be attending, including Christos Tsiamis, so that the CAG can ask questions that might not have been addressed at the Jan. 24 public meeting, and to go into greater depth on the details.  As time permits, we will cover other CAG business including membership, technical assistance, committee updates, and CAG procedures.  Members of the public are welcome to attend, but for space reasons should rsvp to edelstein@psouth.net.  Please do so ASAP, as the choice of meeting space is dependent on attendance.
