The words shock and awe comes to mind with the new interactive map on the MTA Weekender Website. Look how cool it is…

Click anywhere on the map and it zooms in to show you details on each station; whatever station has scheduled work will be blinking.

You can even click to find out what’s happen at each station per line.

This is a vast improvement to the old map and a much better way to communicate to the public. We really hope that they will use this for the weekday live update version and the actual maps in larger connections stations such at Atlantic / Pacific.
